The monastic community is built around Christ, the stone that accompanies it in its journey through history towards the fullness of life.

The monks prefer nothing whatever to Christ. May He bring us all together to life everlasting! (RB 72,11-12)

The itinerary is traced by Benedict rule which he himself defined as minimum Rule which we have written for beginners (RB 73,8)

In the Rule, the monastic community recognizes the proposal to live the original Christian vocation, received by each of us at Baptism.

The monastic community of St. Luke, as embodied in a place and at a time, has received the gift of participation in the life of the local Church (Diocese of Fabriano-Matelica) e si riconosce, nella sua marginalità e in quanto segno, a servizio per il bene comune.

The affectionate reverence suggested by the Rule in living the mutual relations is the attitude toward which tends the fraternal life of the community.

…and to respect the seniors. To love the juniors. (RB 4,70-71)

…Thus they should anticipate one another in honor; most patiently endure one another's infirmities, whether of body or of character; vie in paying obedience one to another no one following what she considers useful for herself, but rather what benefits another. (RB 72,4-7)

The community is attentive to the deepening of the Word of God, the acquisition of theological knowledge and openness to our daily matters.

All these features tend to favor the path of the search of God and the unification of the heart that characterizes a mature faith.
